Well, I know it's really annoying to go through the basics right now, but just think of them like stepping stones in your path of learning.
You might not enjoy them, but it does get you a little bit further. This looks like a really difficult piece so congrats on getting it all! I would have gotten lost in all of the shape and color changes.
